Olive-Free White Bean Tapenade

Ingredients

• 1 cup cooked white beans(cannellini or great northern) rinsed, drained, and patted dry

• 2 tablespoons capers, drained

• 1 small garlic clove

• Zest and juice of 1/2 lemon

• 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar

• 1/3 cup good olive oil

• 2 tablespoons fresh basil, finely chopped

• Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

• Pinch of flaky salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the beans - transfer to a serving dish.

  2. Top with garlic, capers, salt, pepper, vinegar, and basil.

  3. Serve with sourdough bread.
